An enjoyable evening of members latest acquisitions showed the variety and breadth of the Societies collecting interests.

mber of the Society when it’s origins were based in Swadlincote. The member was a collector of Falkland Islands material. We still have a member who has a similar interest in the Falklands.
We also enjoyed displays on first flights, Canada and printed bills to name but three. Of special interest is perhaps the bill from the old Hastings hotel in Ashby de la Zouch which is now known as the Royal.
